• Advancing Breastfeeding Support Across Rhode Island ECHO® Learning Series

    • About this ECHO 

    • CTC-RI, in partnership with RIDOH and UHC, is excited to offer the Advancing Breastfeeding Support Across Rhode Island ECHO® Series that is designed to provide continuing education opportunities and increase lactation workforce capacity to provide equity-centered counseling, complex case management and cross-sector coordination. Participants will collaborate with each other and engage in ongoing learning.

      Two options for participation

      1. Full participation ECHO®: Participate in at least 8 out of 10  sessions and be willing to present a case study (includes - $250.00 stipend payments; see registration for details).
      2. Flexible participation: Attend individual ECHO® sessions with no commitment to sharing a case (no incentive payment)

  • We are offering "Full Participation" and "Flexible Participation" options for this ECHO® series with a stipend available for participants who fulfill the full participant requirements.

    Full Participation: Learner attends at least 8 out of 10 sessions, is willing to present a case study and complete a program evaluation after each session. Includes $250.00 stipend for up to 20 individuals or sites.

    Individuals may receive a stipend if they are the only participant from their organization. If multiple individuals from the same site participate, one stipend will be paid to the site. Multiple sites may participate from the same organization. Attendance is tracked through the iECHO® platform

    Flexible Participation: Learner attends individual sessions with no commitment to sharing a case. (no stipend)

     *Please note: Individuals who are employed by the State of Rhode Island are not eligible to receive stipend payments.

    By registering, you confirm your acknowledgement and consent to participate in our learning community for the RI Advancing Breastfeeding Support Across Rhode Island ECHO® series as an individual participant, or as a participant representative of an organization or site team.

    Participants and organization teams agree to:

    • Participate collegially and actively engage in regularly scheduled ECHO® sessions, including presenting cases, brainstorming, providing comments and feedback, and asking relevant questions
    • Keep any patient information provided by participants, or presenters during a session confidential
    • Complete periodic surveys and evaluations after each session to help improve services to clinicians and other partners
    • Be solely responsible for the treatment of your patients and understand that all clinical decisions rest with you regardless of recommendations provided by other ECHO® participants
    • Project ECHO® collects data from all ECHO® series to measure, analyze, and report on the program’s reach. Aggregate data is used in reports, on maps and visualizations, for research, for communications and surveys, for data quality assurance activities, and for decision-making related to new initiatives.
